Keep up that sanding and when you are done you won't have fingerprints.
It took a while for my fingers to get back to normal when we did the sanding on mine. You guys are making great progress. Once he is old enough, I hope I will get the chance to have a bonding project like this with my son. Keep up the great work!

Boss fond of the 84-86 years, my F150 is an 85 and I have did a few restores on it, latest has been the single carb , to two barrel swap, minus the computer . Wish it was that easy to rid my computer on my 92 bronco .Good luck, keep us posted, she will be a proud girl driving the bronco once its finished .

That's awesome work so far! She's going to be really proud once it's done.
I repainted part of my Bronco about 3 years ago, maybe 4 now. I redid the hood, top, upper fenders and upper tailgate.
It was my first time at painting but it came out great and still looks good! I did it outside too and at night!
I wish I had a big garage like that for my painting. I recently painted a 91 camaro I bought back to it's original red, but added black stripes to it. Being that it had to be done outside, I got a bit of orange peel in the paint due to it being a little too warm when painted.
I pretty much put the work to fully "restore" my Bronco, but it was never in bad shape in the first place, I just wanted Eddie Bauer stuff, so I converted my entire interior.
I'm glad to see more Broncos especially here in AZ! What part of the valley are you guys on? I'm on the East side out past Fountain Hills, I still live with my parents while I'm in college, but we have tons of land for me to work on my vehicles so it's great, plus no one ever complains when I have parts sitting around for a week (well except my mom...)!

hoping this will be the last prime.
Final sand and paint. running out of time so its gotta get done!
It will probably be straighter than when it left the factory back in '86 . . LOL, Going black so its gotta be decent!
Lets hope I did not "forget" how to paint, My only choice is outside so will see how it goes. Either that or make a call to a body shop! (that would be a first for me but time is running out)

I see nice complete rust and dent free bronco's in the bone yards all the time. Even parts are way cheap here.
Finger prints? what are they? LOL the print scanner on my phone and laptop have not worked for days . . .
Hoping to have paint on it this week . . .
Yeah, I do not think she can visualize how nice it will look!
Getting there . .

Thanks!
Still doing the final blocking.
My daughter can only make it over for a couple of hours a few times per week but we are making progress. A few more hours of sanding the final time and it should be good to go for paint.
The last time we masked it the overspray did not stick to the plastic at all so ordered some from 3M. We do not need paint blowing onto the fresh stuff.
Goal is to get painting by saturday evening but will see how that goes.
