Power
What power output is there in a 89 351w, ie bhp & torque, this is what came in my 37 1/2 ton truck , looking at aftermarket inlet & carb, already came with headers, what extra power this would get me if anything ! not looking at head swap yet, cheers guys for any help/ guidance, UK.

Is that a CNG carb on it now?
An '89 351W as installed in a Bronco or F150 would have been a multi-point electronically fuel injected engine with iron manifolds. 210 HP at 3800 RPM, 315 lb/ft of torque at 2800 RPM. This chart shows power figures for several years, I am not sure it is 100% accurate:

This is comparison from Ford with their factory "dyno charts" probably around 1991:

Your engine has headers (+) but it appears to be stripped of the EFI and has a different (carb type) manifold. That could go either way. CNG would definitely be lower power.
And it is impossible to know what cam is in your engine. Since it has been worked on, you would have to research that.
Does it currently run? Have you driven it? The picture looks like it's still in a shipping condition, all buttoned up and not ready to run at all.
250 to 300 HP would be fairly easy with a 351w even with the stock heads I think. Note the above HP figures are SAE Net numbers.

power
Hi , thanks for info, engine not run yet, it does turn over nice & smoothly, was told it came out of a pickup /low mileage, will not be using the intake & carb on it, switching to a weiand stealth & 4 barrel holley, believe cam to be stock, so plenty to go at later down the road, how much for a efi system over their or can you get hold of an original system in breakers yard easy enough ? cheers Kev UK.
