was not able to turn driveshaft by hand, cleaned and greased hubs with guzzles page instructions. was ok for a few months but now still cant turn driveshaft. is this the point where i should buy warn hubs? do i need to check for vacuum leak? thanks. i do use 4x4 a handfull times a year.
Pop the ESOF hubs out and see if the driveshaft turns freely with them removed. If so, replacing them with manual lockers would be more cost effective. A vacuum leak would not cause hub engagement. Vacuum apples the hubs.

removed and pushed down on springs inside a few times. all is good now. i see riff raff has 2 kinds of warn hubs, do i need the premium warn hubs? or go with the cheaper, thanks

Annual maintenance will keep the operational indefinitely. I do mine in July, that way they're ready for December.
I think my main issue is last year I had to drive in 3 feet of waves at pismo beach to go pick up a friend at the entrance. Used salt away when I got back but didn't get it all off. My rear brakes had issues dragging few months back
