I'll respond for you:

NNNN: Colorado HIGH!!!!

84F: Ugliest Ford I've ever seen. If you are going to customize something make it better, not worse.

Okay, I can't resist. Sellers have to be realistic.

MMMM: Maaaaaybe $250 for the rims and tires. Minimum three engine pics and three interior pics, if you don't mind. And call me hard to please, but I prefer not to be forced to go "window shopping". Just think, if you can scrape together another $500, you can buy LLLL, which truly is a sweet-lookin' truck.

NNNN
: Wow. It's really hard to come up with the right words. "Rust at wheel wells" seems somewhat of an understatement. Needs tires, battery, a wrecker ... that driver's door panel might have tempted a few on this forum, but it's been closed up for nine years with that overflowing ashtray. Tasty.

As for 84F:

Wow! I just want a 4wd 250 or 350 with the 6.9 that isn't rotted out! Sounds like I need to get you to go shopping for me if/when I sell my current truck!

As for 84F, I did notice it says "360" on the grille. I don't know of a 360 that GM made, let alone put in the 80's pickups. Maybe someone transplanted a Ford motor, Wasn't there a 360 FE motor?

I think that truck is either stolen, or the owner died/split and someone else is trying to get rid of it. Definitely one of those "show me the title first" transactions. It's hilarious that it's listed as a Ford with that big GMC logo on the grill - no specs, no particulars, no engine listed, etc.

But, it DOES have that lether interio, so that's a plus ...

U sure it isn't "plether"?

Yes, Ford had a 360, the little bother to the 390. It was a dog.

It's a shame really. It looks to be in good shape, but is being sold by an ignorant seller. If someone's shopping 84 GM Sierra on CL, they're not going to find this.

If only it had a good motor, and wasn't taxi yellow through and through, and was a Ford ... might be a good deal.

In other news -- it appears that someone bought the bus (EEEE). It was last seen en route to Oklahoma ...

Well, I hope the Partridge family drives slowly as the hosts in Okiehoma are visiting Mickey.

I think the shame is how poorly some people will do in future endeavors given their failure to be educated. Oklahoma is a prime example as we are cutting back on spending on education at the same time that our students are ranking near the bottom of the U.S. students in testing. I know many teachers that are beyond frustrated, and yet we keep churning out people who advertise FroG's with lether.

Amen to that, brother. For several years I volunteered as a tutor for junior high kids. These were children who had not learned basic math and English yet continued up the educational chain because... (you know all the reasons - budget, apathy, etc.) So I had groups of sixth through eighth graders who could not spell, or write a cohesive sentence, or comprehend basic addition tables. I generally started with a practical explanation of how to buy paint, or gasoline, or calculate two eggs each for seven breakfast guests. I was continually stunned by the number of kids who couldn't tell time - or do anything else their "mobile device" would do for them. I had 45 minutes three days a week to make up for several years of non-learning, to kids who mostly did not care. Into that mix, stir in parents who coo that their kids are the next American Idol or movie star or sports legend.

We never quite got into statistical analysis, wherein I would have demonstrated that the odds of their parents being right were about 17 million to one.

I remember one girl early on, who was considered a track and field prodigy. After two days with me, her mother came in and chewed me out because her daughter didn't need all that "adding and word sheeet" (I'll never forget that). The daughter was removed from tutelage, and sure enough, later on she got a full scholarship. She was blazing fast. But when her college profs discovered she couldn't READ, she couldn't pass any of her classes, and lost her full ride. Horribly tragic.

I should have taught the kids that someday, they would need food, and would want to write a coherent "for sale" advertisement without coming across as a mouth-breathing troglodyte.

Yes, that's where we are in Okiehoma. Lots of parents who are helping out at school because we can't pay teachers - and yet we continue to reduce the education budget.
