65/66 F100 Dimensions/Weight

I have found a couple of trucks, one of which is close enough for me to trailer home.

I need to know the overall length of a longbed styleside. Also more importantly I need to know the width of the track or distance from the outside to the outside of the front tires. My trailer is a bit narrower than most and all I have is 72" between the fenders. I once had a Lincoln MK4 on there and it rubbed. That makes me wonder about the truck. One last thing what would the weight of a longbed be approximately?

Thanks
Mark

They sit higher so not as likely to rub. They weigh 4000# +/- few.

I just measured my '66 LWB Styleside. My outside to outside front tire measurement is 76 inches. My truck has 15 x 7 inch wheels and 235/70 x 15 tires. Different tire/wheel combinations could make a big difference. My total length, bumper to bumper is 17 feet, 6 inches. Again, different bumper combinations could affect that reading. I agree that stock weight, say a 352 V8 and 4 speed transmission, should weigh about 4000 pounds. Automatic transmissions, power steering, and air conditioning will add to that. Hope this helps.
