Looking for a Rebuilt Damper '64 223

It seems to be a hard part to find. I'm wondering if any of you fine Ford folks has a damper for a 1964 F100 with a 223. It's my only vehicle so I can't pull mine and send it off to be rebuilt. I tried the Damper Doctor but his line is always busy when I call and no response to my emails. I'm really close to the Expo center here in Portland where the auto swap meet is happening so I can easily make it over there if you happen to be a vendor there!

C4TZ-6312-E .. 1964 223 Harmonic Balancer-includes single sheave pulley / Obsolete

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

1964 used a one year ONLY balancer. It's different than the 223 single sheave balancer (C3AZ-6312-C) used 1954/63 on trucks & 1954/64 Passenger Cars.

Going to be tough to find a single-year only balancer.

There is another firm that rebuilds balancers - http://www.damperdudes.net no idea how reputable they are but give them a call.

Might try contacting http://www.flashbackf100s.com for a used one and find someone to rebuild.

Thanks for the helpful responses. I guess I'll have to figure out how to survive without transport for a week while I ship it off to have it rebuilt. Perhaps I'll be one of those guys who walks around the auto swap meet tomorrow with a sign around my neck!

No, what I'm getting at is try to find a used one from Flashback, say. Or whoever. Then, send that one off to be rebuilt. This will minimize down time. Make sure you have a puller and an installer. A long grade five or better bolt and a big stack of washers will work for installation. Avoid hammering or pounding on the crankshaft to install, imo.

Even if you were to find NOS damper it may have deteriorated sitting on the shelf. Ozone attacks rubber. And any used one you find, may be worse than what's on there now. Maybe not for you, but (for me anyway) changing dampers is kind of a pain in the ***. So I only want to do it once.

That was my thought too, find one to send off for rebuilding to save time. I actually tried to edit this post to remove "rebuilt" but couldn't change the title.
I have a connection who will loan me the needed tools and might help too, just need the part. I'm wondering if I should change out the chain while I'm down there too.

Yeah, careful - it's easy to get carried away, "well as long as I'm replacing X, might as well replace Y" tho it is what it is. These old trucks are like peeling back an onion.

Yea, I know what you're saying but it'd give me something to do until the damper is done!
