68 f100 suspension build

I just joined this forum, but I have been checking it out for quite some time. I must say, there are a lot of really great trucks here!
I recently picked up a 68 F100 about a week ago and I cannot wait to get started on it! I will be building a bolt-in ifs and rear kit for it, along with a length adjustment as it is a long bed at the moment. I will probably keep the rack and the mirrors. More pictures are on the way!

Some stuff I did for a 62 c10

It's all good but ya gotta experience a whole new world beyond bolt-ons and never look back.

I'm personally all about the weld in kits, but I want to build this as both options.

I Took the truck out this last Friday and man, it is going to be difficult to tear this thing apart. I realized that I am kind of bad at the forum thing so I will try to update this as much as possible. If anyone gives a sh#t my IG account is psukraw.

Well, as I said before I am bad at the forum thing. I have also taken some time off from the kit to finish up a few other projects.

Here are some links to my IG posts, of where I am at now with this kit. I am cutting parts tomorrow and should have something mocked up within the next few weeks. Thanks for looking! Long live the F100'S!

Rack and pinion steering I assume? Keep bumpsteer in mind. The spindle and RnP tie rod needs to travel in the same arc. Therefore, the inner tie rod connection to the rack basically needs to be at the same pivot point as the lower control arm....

You are correct sir! I had to get a little creative with the configuration of the lower control arm and the rack on this one, but rest assured, bump-steer has been addressed and eliminated. I am going for a 6" ride height with the ability to lay frame, while running a smaller diameter wheel if desired. Taking all of this into consideration, something had to be done with the rack and pinion, as I do not want to raise the motor.

Glad you jumped back on it. What did your girlfriend do to tick you off?

Haha!

I am also happy to be working on it again. I love driving the thing, so I am hoping for as little down-time as possible.
