67 f100 ranger no brakelites no lights

Hi kids! Bought this ol truck a coupla weeks ago and got everything working. Almost. I have no power at the brake lite switch. Not sure really where to go from there. My turn signals work but they blink way fast. I heard that maybe it could be the turn signal unit on the steering column. Or sometimes the dashlite dimmer part of the headlite switch. I checked blite switch with ign on and off. Might be kinda cool to find out where all the ol ford truck parts be at!!😎
Thanks

Did you check all the fuses? And I mean check both sides with a test light. Also check on the holder without touching the fuse. Those old fuse blocks sometimes don't make good contact with the fuse itself. Fast blinking with all the lights working, try a new blinker first. By listening for it, you should be able to find it under the dash.

1967 F100/350's use a one year only brake pedal and brake (stop) light switch. The switch itself was also used on some cars and Bronco's.

C9OZ-13480-A (replaced C6OZ-13480-A) .. Brake (Stop) Lamp Switch (Motorcraft SW-881).

1967 F100/350 // 1967/77 Bronco // 1966/68 Fairlane/Torino/Falcon/Comet.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C9TZ-13341-C (replaced C5TZ-13341-B) .. T/S switch / Obsolete ~ Available from Dennis Carpenter (800-476-9653).

1965/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/68 F100/350 / 1969 F100/350 before serial number G30,001.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TWO different flashers, one for the T/S, another for the 4 way emergency lamps. Both look identical and have two prongs, but the 4 way flasher is a H/D unit, has a louder CLICK.

T/S flasher plugs into the back of the instrument cluster, upper left (drivers) side. 4 way flasher fits into a bracket that is retained to the back side of the dash w/a screw.

The 4 way flasher can be substituted for the T/S flasher (and was w/trailer tow and deaf people), but the T/S flasher should not be substituted for the 4 way flasher, as it's a "weak sister."

Pic: 1967/69 T/S & 4 way flasher (13350) locations, location of 4 way emergency switch (13A350).

Rapid blinking of the signal indicators on the instrument cluster usually means the filament in one or more of the bulbs is burned out.

1157 bulbs are cheap.

Got every thing working in the cab and out. Lites (no dimmer switch action. Lites go out.) Brake light, wipers, heater/def, turn sig still fast. Will check for emer flasher. That would explain the on/off switch under the inst cluster perhaps gettin carb rebuilt. Tried to time it...Jeezelooeeze!

the last time I had everything go out on me like that, it turned out to be the dimmer switch. Replaced it and everything worked again.
