Not found any UK suppliers yet. So far all orders iv made have been through Mid-fifty. Around $4000 dollars worth, import taxes alone are crippling.

Managed to find a Uk supplier who has a supply of windscreens luckily as mine cracked coming out and so far iv had quotes of $600-$850 to have one shipped to the UK which is crazy.

Thought id post an update on this, Progress hasnt stopped. After my foot healed i jumped back on it. Progress has been slow going, mostly hold ups with paint work. But its getting there.

After painting the cab, i moved on to refitting the front end. I had to decide on wether to keep a front bumper or not. In the end, i decided to do away with it. So i cut the front chassis legs and set about blocking up the holes the bumper comes through.

I then set about paing the front end etc and getting it back together.

I was dreading rebuilding the door, it had been so long since i took it apart, i feared i couldnt remember how it goes together After 40 mins though it was all done and dusted, fitted back together with new Chrome centre bar, new anti rattle strips, new rubber seals and window strips, new door handles etc. It looked great in fairness.

Next bit was to fit a new locking system, the orginal locking system involving the stars was horrendous, the passenger door refused to stay shut and the drivers door wasnt much better. Paid a pretty penny for an Altman latch system. Took 20 mins to install, job done. Nice reliable locking system.

At the moment, im at this point. Iv got the passenger door to finish, which im hoping to do in the next few days, then im done with the bodywork for the time being. The bed is only roughly painted as it has so many holes and dents etc, i think it would take far to long to sort it out. So im going to order new side panels, and a new stamped tailgate as my plain one is a little boring.

In need of lowering, but iv got a Jag IFS subframe, and it looks like I may be getting Millers Speed Shop to fit it in November. Making Progress Now.

Once the passenger door is fitted, i can re-wire it fully, not expecting that to take more than a day or two, and then i can finally drive her again. I am absolutely dying to get it back on the road and enjoy using it, even in the half done state its in now.

Wow! Beautiful.
40 minutes to put the door back together with all that? Man it would have taken me 40 hours.
You will have to take some through the windshield pictures (or video) for us on your drive.

I was surprised aswell, i genuinly put off rebuilding the doors for some time because i was worried it wouldnt go back together lol. Afterwards i was a little ashamed of myself as i could be a few weeks further on if id just down it. Never mind eh.

I will definitly record the first test drive after it is running again.

I will do a proper update at some point in the near future. For a quick reference though. Here is how she currently sits.

The Turbovecs are about to make a departure for something alot nicer. Just go to have the tires swapped over.

And im about to hit the button on a Mustang II kit for the front and jaguar IRS for the rear. Having a friend of mine to the bulk of the work as im very busy with my job at the moment. Expecting it in and out all done within 10 days.

Im using it now. That helps. Although the ride is bloody aweful. So bouncing and hard. Thats whats prompted the Mustang II front end and Rear IRS. Hopefully get it in the end of feb.

Still not re-done the rear bed..or the interior. Will be doing the interior in the next week or two hopefully. My mate has just started an upholstery company which helps. As for the bed...god knows when that will get done.

Bought a set of these, bit rusty and dirty

But with a little elbow grease, a bottle of coke and some tin foil...

Quick test fit. Will throw on some rubber this week and get it settled.

Wow! Will Coke, and tin foil work on a rusty chrome front pumper on a 70 F350.
