Serious problems with air fresheners

Every time I put an air freshener in the truck, it's super strong for a day or 2, but soon all hope is lots.
If the truck sits for a week, nothing, no scent at all.
I've tried several, then it's strong enough to make your eyes water, then a couple days nothing.
I even tried the whole house air freshener, super strong, but dead after only a few days.

Is there somewhere that you can buy bottles of super concentrated liquid, and re-charge the air fresheners?

I found a few places selling it, complete with whimis labels and warning labels. Yummy! lol.

Has anyone here tried any?

I'd like to know before I buy a gallon of concentrate haha.

Sounds like you're ripping open the air freshener packages too much and burning your nose follicles (is there such a thing) with the initial blast and then the air freshener settles back and the damage to your nose doesn't allow you to enjoy the next couple a months of 'normal' air freshening
Try just opening a small area of the wrapper and then as the odor deceases open it a little more and see if that extends the mileage a little just my 2cts.

In the warmer months, I put a cherry candle (the kind that comes in a glass jar) under the seat. The heat of the day just pulls the aroma out.

(Don't light it!!!!!!)

Try dryer sheets. I help deliver cars to dealers and they use them vigorously. They work pretty well. Not sure how long they last but they are cheaper and have more of them in a box.

I like the candle idea. I haven't had much luck from the kind that hang from your mirror, but the ones that clip on your ac vent seem to last a long time. I put one on each of the vents in my rig and ended up having to take a few of them down because they were so strong.

Doubt the candle would work here in Mississippi. Around 100 in the summer may lead to melted wax in the carpet when the windows are rolled up all day.

I'd clean the truck lol then you don't have to cover up whatever nasty scent you have stuck in the truck. And you will save allot of $$ on the scents. When my wife buys them for her car i have her out them in the glove box or console with Just a corner ripped open. It then does not assult my senses soo bad.

I just carry a can of ozium in my vehicles. I've never found any of the freshners to work as well as they claim. That and febreezing the carpets/upholstery if possible.
A car wash near me has a machine that they spray the freshner on your carpets.
It smells pretty good for about a week as well.

That works great if you don't have kids. Go on a road trip with a baby and this is bound to happen lol. Wash the clothes, tie them up in a bag throw out the diaper, etc, it still stinks.
