All I am saying is I dont see the point. Just like I am sure you dont see the point of me owning so many guns, horses, cows, acres, ect....

@ TK-Leather: I get that you don't see the point. There is nothing wrong you feeling that way. There was nothing wrong with you expressing it either, but you could have done it in a way that sounded less condescending and judgemental in my opinion. All you have done is alienated the vast majority of the 6.7 section and if that was your goal then:

Most of us are normal guys and gals that have nice trucks that we love and love to work on. We get along alright and try our best to welcome people. Come to think of it, this describes most people on FTE that I have run into. So I don't understand why you find it imperative to keep insulting our trucks or our desire to modify them. Most people on FTE do the same and we get along fine. I just understand why your opinion outweighs any of ours?

Oh wait...it doesn't. Have a nice day

Every thing you posted as upgrades work against mpg for the most part. If you were really concerned, you'd loose the lift, tires, lower, remove the fluff and bought a truck with 2wd.

It amazes me how people just assume that the engineers at Ford ( or any mfger) are just fin stupid and don't have the slightest clue about efficiency and performance.

You can be as mad at me as you want, but no one says a work to either of these guys?

I'm not angry or "mad" at you. I just don't respect what you have to say. We stopped commenting on the other posters because they stopped posting their disparaging remarks. I'd encourage you to do the same.

These are just classic trolling attempts Savage...it's bordering on violating forum policy and I'm sure the mods will deal with it in due time if need be.

Back on topic...just installed the Hellwig and WeatherTechs!

Thanks much...Rigid recently came out with these DOT/SAE compliant fogs. Look and work great and you can actually run them legally! Part number is 50481.

Nice to know they are compliant. Some bonehead had one of those light bars mounted like yours and was blinding oncoming traffic...... just makes you wonder what they are thinking. If he didn't have traffic behind him I would of blistered the paint off his hood with my Day-Lighters....

Buddy had a Corvette, wanted better driving lights, picked some up at a surplus store in Dallas that specialized in aircraft stuff, he got a set of landing lights.

He stuffed them in the grill opening of his early 70's vette. We work half the day on this and wow they see bright, but then it was daylight. We order out some pizza and wait on dark. He know a place S of Dallas that is long and straight and we can test them. WOW is all we can say. We then turn around and head back, he wonders how soon can someone see them. Way out there a car is coming and flips the lights telling us to dim. My buddy wants to test. He leaves them on. More flips, they stay on, finally the car is upon us and he flips on his red and blues. Cop was NOT amused...
