Identify this connector?

Just bought this truck a week ago(1992 F150 XLT 5.0L V8 Automatic. I was looking at spark plugs when I noticed this two wire connector on left side of engine. Plastic connector melted. The wire comes out of the plastic loom just above my hand.
Anyone know what this is or where it is to be connected?

Thanks in advance

My first thought is power steering pressure switch. Some trucks used one, some did not, but I think most, if not all trucks had the wiring pigtail.

You may be right. I looked for any other open connectors within reach of the wire. I found nothing available.
