I would prefer a long bed option. Short bed plus tool box=insufficient room!
Need tool box. Need room.

Umm I don't think Ford had utility in mind when they marketed it. Plus, the cost involved for them to stamp out another bed (as the bed differs from the standard F150) for what may be a seldom used option would only be a cost increase that is passed onto the customer.

But that is all just speculation...
