Short Woman with a Big Truck

I'm 46, so I'm not doing the high-heel thing.
However, I did try the step ladder idea, but found that I couldn't reach the step ladder to put it back into the truck for me to be able to get back out of the truck.
Any other ideas/?

You can get a step that bolts to the rocker. A lot of people prefer a frame mounted one, but the rocker mounted ones seem plenty strong IMO. A grab handle inside the truck is a good idea too, pulling yourself in by the steering wheel will damage the column eventually.
Something like this for the step: Here is a grab handle. I saw a thread recently talking about using a factory grab handle from the junkyard but don't remember what it came off of.

I've been looking on Amazon, but really wasn't sure what I needed.
Indeed, I have been hoisting myself up using the steering wheel, knowing full well that it's not a good thing to do.
Is there a solution for the truck bed too?
I have been using a step ladder for this purpose.
Thanks!!!

I have seen short folding step ladders, aluminum and very light weight at 2 foot tall that I would think can be stored behind the seat. That should be enough height to help you gain access into the truck of your bed also. I would recommend the side step though for gaining access to your truck cab. With a ladder you would have to be conscientious about ground conditions. Levelness, ice, etc. Not much for options for gaining access to your bed other than a step ladder. Maybe some mod to your rear bumper with an attachment to act as a step?
I removed the running boards off my truck and since then my wife told me I need to replace them with something to help her get in the truck. I am looking at the side steps in the link.

Just saw the pic of your truck in your other thread. If you remove the rear hubcaps you should have a hub sticking out there that can be used as a step to reach things from the side. Some f250's have a semi floating rear and the hub doesn't stick out, but they are kinda rare.
