Just tie a chunk of rope or cord on the handle of
a 5 gal oil bucket. Use it for the step to get in the
cab or bed. Than pull the bucket up with the rope
you still have in your hand and swing it into the
truck bed. Than put the end of the rope where you
can get to it to get back out or use it again. It's like
free and works for me and mine.

LOL...my wife does this exact thing with a Rubbermaid step stool. She doesn't drive the F-250 much, but she's a hoot to watch when she does.

This looks like it could solve the bed thing. I think I've seen others that are similar.
Thank you so much!

That's exactly what I need. I searched Amazon and came up with lots of similar products.

Thanks again!

What part of NC are you in, Nicole! I might have a factory radio, have to look around and see.

Getting in and out of bed. My daughter is about the same height. She climbs the rim/tire of one of the rear wheels to get herself up there.

I often step onto the bumper first before stepping onto the tailgate but I'm 6' so that doesn't help you much.

I like the hitch idea.

For the cab, you could get yourself a set of cab steps or running boards. Running boards are tougher on the body in my opinion but a nice set of chromed steps would look nice.

Check out the N-Fab website they are not cheap but will resolve all issues for entering the cab and bed.

a small trampoline will work too. just place one where you park. this way not only will you be able to get in and out of the truck easily, you will also get exercise each time.

Thanks for all your advice and recommendations.

I AM using a plastic step with a rope until my daughter installs the Bully AS-200 Bully Aluminum Side Steps ($34 / pair).

Amazon.com: Bully AS-200 Bully Aluminum Side Step: Automotive Amazon.com: Bully AS-200 Bully Aluminum Side Step: Automotive

Then, my next purchase will be the Bully CR-600 Receiver Hitch Mounted Utility Step ($42 Amazon).

You all are Fabulous!

could run to autozone or any place like that and get one of those bump step things that goes into your hitch receiver unit and there you go easy step to help with getting into the trucks bed and when needed can be removed to put a hitch and hook to a trailer
