11-14 upgrade to power sliding window

I have a buddy who just bought a 2013 f350 xlt. It came with the straight glass and he upgraded to the power sliding window. We both assumed that the wiring harness' would be there to hook up. But they werent. I wanted to see if anybody has done this and maybe we're looking in the wrong location. He would like to make it look factory, however I just don't know if it's possible

where did he search for the wiring? I would think it would be under the carpet?

I checked on the carpet underneath the window but I didn't check the floor carpet... maybe it could be there I'll have to take a look

The plug appears to be in the right rear of the cab not under the floor but behind the trim along the C pillar.

I'm going to take a good look at that tonight thanks! And also would you happen to know if they also give you the harness to plug in the switch? I took the overhead console out and didn't see anything. But I figured it's probably inside the liner

From what I have read, if it came with a fixed window from the factory then all connectors, switches and harness runs would have been deleted as well.

Yeah I took the C pillar apart and found nothing. I called my local ford and they said the harness cannot even be ordered.

He loves it.. he had a chevy before with it and he always used it. But a buddy of mine had the same problem 3 years ago with his 07... he took the whole window off, re-sealed it, put a nice heavy coat on and not a problem since.

Generally speaking wiring harnesses are not one size fits all these days. Just trying adding factory fog lights to a late model (-=

I can only imagine... I did fogs on my buddies 2013, wasn't too bad but he wanted the automatic headlight dome put in and that was a real PITA.
