Volare front suspension

I've had a volare front suspension in my truck that was installed in California back in 2004 and am not to happy with it. I replaced all the bushings, ball joints and shocks but she still clunks when ever I go over a bump like something is loose. I jacked it up and looked at every possible think that would or could clunk and everything seemed tight. I took it to a front end shop and they said everything looked good. When I had it jacked up I did notice that the drivers side wheel hangs a little lower than the passenger side. could this be an incorrect setting on the lowering screws on the volare? On the ground she sits level and driving she corners great but even the smallest divit in the road and it feels like one of the wheels are dropping. could it be just a bad shock? Anybody else have this problem.

Sounds like shocks, those front ends have very small shocks without a lot of travel so when a shock goes you know it. I replaced mine with Bilsteins.

I agree with bad shocks, but while you are there take a look at the bump stops and replace if needed. How did they mount the volare in, did they cut into the frame so it sits low or did they mount under the frame? If it is mounted under the frame alot of the owners took alot of the adjustment out to get them lower and consequently it takes some of the torsion out and the front end bounces alot. Shocks take a beating and wear faster. I have seen the ones with the frame notched also have this situation just depends on the look the owner wants to achieve. I like these trucks low so on my first one I notched into the frame and took some torsion out to get even lower than I had the soft ride and worn shocks. I put lowering spindles on which enabled me to have my preferred ride height and I got rid of the soft ride and I like it alot better. My panel has the exact same set-up.
