Acronyms that are frequently used

As I search this forum for information I run across acronyms that are frequently used that I am unaware of the meaning.

Is the list of acronyms somewhere to educate us as to the meaning of them?

I am only referring to the ones that relate to the different components of the Ford vehicles.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated,

Jake

Didn't see it on the list but STV is one. My '78 Mercury has one on there but its really an outdated A/C system component.

STV = Suction Throttling Valve.

Im sure if I had the time I could skim through the list and post more that I know that are not on the list but I have to turn in early as I need to get up early.

Am I really supposed to know this list?
This even has gas engine stuff on it.
Way too endless for this old guy to memorize.
Appreciate the time saved typing once you know them though.

Pretty extensive list. Since it mentions 'tyres' a few times, I'd guess that at least part of it originated in England. Might have some references not normally seen in the US.
