Transmission help!! P0756

I just got the truck a couple weeks ago. I have been going through the truck and changing all fluids and filters one by one back to oem, truck seems to have been taken care of except using oem filters, lots of wix stuff. And crap Napa fuel filter caps.

I was driving a lot of properties today for work speeds of 0-40 all day. By hour 5 the Trans starting the whole flaring between 2-3 and 3-4. Finally got home and put the scanner on it and after some bs about the cruise control codes (which works just fine), it's shows P0756. So it mechanical solenoid stuck open or off.

What should I do? Replace the solenoid? Do a KAM reset? Do nothing? (That's a joke)

I did have the batteries disconnected two weeks ago when replacing belt tensioner. Would that possibly cause this issue?
I also replaced the trans filter and fluid when I had to change the TFT sensor and trans harness due the the infamous check Trans temp and tow haul flashing issues. Ended up being a bent prong on the Trans connector but hey I didn't find it til I was way to deep in the Trans so I just replaced it all.

My assumption is the new fluid change and filter change has moved stuff around and the solenoid is now stuck? But you know what they say about assumptions!

Any advice at the next right step in diagnosing this issue would be very helpful.

Mark,

Just making sure I have this correct its a mechanical issue not an electrical. It's connected and the harness is reading what it needs to read. I read some conflicting information about ohming the solenoid but common sence says its not electrical, correct?

P0756 says that electrical solenoid is mechanically stuck. So is that mechanical or electrical? Either way the solenoid is stuck and isn't doing what it needs to do. Replace it.

Update: I was waiting on the new solenoid to arrive in the mail which is did this weekend and I was going to replace tonight after workand then today on my way home the truck stopped wanting to drive and the trans acted like it was slipping completely or in neutral. Code popped immediately P0751

Any ideas what to do next. Replace both solenoids and hope fro the best?
