This is the one they sold me

This is the Dana 60 in the truck
Is that a ford rear end on the top. My drive line u-joints are .100 thou bigger and wont fit in the rear end.
The truck is 75 f250 2wd Crew Cab. I was told they used the narrow frame on Crew Cabs. Mine is 43" from inside the leaf springs. I have 2 1/2" leafs and the new rear end are 3"

IF that new rear end is a Ford unit it is probably from a later truck based on leaf spring width. You should really look up the BOM numbers from your old axle and see whats inside to come up way to identify whats in a replacement axle.

(EDIT) Found the other thread (sheesh) .....take it back and tell them it's wrong. Cant be that hard to find a axle that doesn't require a bunch of fab especially for $400.

Just for fun I did a search on craigslist.....if this is for real you better jump on this. Smokin deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have a ton of parts trucks in your area. You should be able to pick up a rear end for 100.Good luck.
