2002 F250 5.4 NEED HELP!

Truck started running and idling rough - seem to be a misfire type scenario.

Almost gave the symptom of a clog in Catalytic converter.

No engine light this whole time throughout trying to fix issue.

Hooked up scanner anyway and got 2 stored codes for Cyl 7 and 8 misfire.

Long story short replaced:
Coils
Plugs
Fuel Injectors
Cat
Fuel Pump
Fuel filter

Truck is still having same issue with no engine light

I'm running out of ideas and need some help.

Im thinking ECU at this point.

I chased around a dead miss on cylinder 7 on my truck for days. Finally got smart and checked the fuel injector plug with a multimeter. Had no ground at all. There is a constant battery voltage wire (+) and a switched ground from PCM. If you hook a multimeter up while running the engine you should be able to read battery voltage off of it if its working properly. I had to splice a new switched ground wire in from the 40 or so pin connecter on the drivers side of the motor down to the PCM.

I doubt your ECU itself went bad. Defentally sounds like bad wiring to and or from it.

Oh and my truck like so many others that I have found out about on here, does not like throwing misfire codes haha. I swear I have to beat the heck outta the truck to make it tell me anything. Stubborn fords.....
