leaking coolant passenger side manifold area

Hey folks.... I've just finished a marathon replacing the y-pipe, and doing the IPR screen. I had many seized/stripped bolts to contend with. 2 I had to cut off in the most awkward places.. Anyways, it all came together and completed the project late tonight...

Befoer even starting the truck I noticed coolant dripping from passenger side manifold/block heater area.. I obviously must have damaged something in my reefing on turbo to get it lined up with exhaust pipes, etc...

I cannot see the source of the leak, but it seems wet above the block heater, but pools there then drips.. I'm curious if anyone could help figure out where to look. Could I have damaged the EGR cooler and its coming from there? At the manifold joint closest to the back, is there coolant flowing there? I am pretty frustrated, because after going through a day like to day, ripping my arms to shreds, straining for 12 hours straight, then having yet another issue to figure out...

Hope someone can shed a bit of light on this

Thanks

Also this is as best as I could get the y-pipe to meet the turbo... slight gap at bottom. Do you think this is tight enough so it doesn't leak?

I didn't ever see that hose.... is it likely to have damaged it while jerking the turbo around? i did use a prybar trying to position it during reinstall.. Is that hose exposed and I possibly cracked it? thanks for advice...

It sits right under the pedestal. So maybe.

If it is, it can be replaced without removing the turbo if it is a stock hose.

I'll bet it's leaking from that hose. Replacing that hose with the turbo pedestal in there is real fun.

2nd what they said ^^^^^ I ended up taking the turbo off b/c the previous owner used a piece of hose and two clamps.... ugh

But I have to do it again since the new hose I put on is already leaking again.

I am thinking about it. I bought another blue hose just in case, and new o rings, but I really want to just put on new hose and upgraded clamps and tighten the crap out of them.

Be careful if you use silicon. If it gets into the coolant it can easily plug up the oil cooler.

well, hopefully I'm not speaking too soon, but my coolant leak seems to have dried up... Hasn't leaked a drop all day and I even did a 2 hour trip with it.. Engine is running better than ever... I'm wondering if my coolant leaked when I had the degas bottle up out of the way. MAybe it pooled, then dripped over night... Anyways, I'll be keeping an eye on it.. If it does appear again, I'll be checking that EGR hose...

Thanks for the advice...
