I guess I don't get the point of #3. Doesn't every teenager know that crayons will burn? I thought that was common knowledge.
On #10, every Boyscout knows steel wool will burn. Not as commonly known as #3 I suppose.
The candle and colored water was very cool!

bring this up to the top for some air....
getting ready to dive into the engine bay of my truck to rebuild the fuel bowl and send the HPOP out to terminator engineering for a freshen up....
since my HPOP discharge fittings leak, and i got the fuel bowl out anyways and with 250k miles on the clock i just as well send it out for a freshen up. that way im done with it and my oil system will be ready for other upgrades later on.
hopefully after this i can get in there and get some up pipes installed, get the broken turbo bolt in the pedestal replaced, and maybe toss that wicked wheel i bought 4.5 years ago in. after that get the cooling system back up to snuff and the engine "should" be good to go.
yes i do still need to replace the transmission, but a fresh trans is worthless if the engine is not working properly. plus im trying to stop the fuel and oil leaks that have rust proofed the entire underside of the truck ... that way the future clean trans is not soaked in oil.

Not bad, I figured it would have taken much longer. However, not having worked on a diesel before, I was just assuming it would be a major job.

on a 7.3 its easy, right on top front of the engine nestled between the heads... how ever on a 6.0 its in the back, not 100% sure of its exact location but its in the back and a pain to get to.
shipped my HPOP out at 9am this morning, they estimate it will be in Modesto by Thursday hoping it get there sooner than that. boy shipping is expensive.... is what it is.

Flat shipping rate box? That's how my steering box was shipped.
Some fun...
Wouldn't it be simpler to just drive it?

big rig videos has some sweet CB interviews with some sweet trucks! needless to say ive spent a few hours watching them!
shipping was 28 bucks with insurance, i wanted to do one day but the 40 to 50 dollar price was a bit steep with the green backs being a bit tight on this project.
