Correction. The vehicle was not stolen, the wheels were stolen off of it. don't know what I was thinking. However, walking outside to see my car up on blocks and its wheels missing was bad enough, can't even imagine walking outside to see the whole vehicle gone.

They may be two major theft cities, but Fresno still holds the number one spot for vehicle thefts per capita in the US, even though Miami is number 1 nationwide, they have a lot more people in their city. One reason I will not buy a Mustang here is because it seems to rank right up there with the Honda Accord as far preferred cars to take. Especially the late 80's early 90's Mustangs. (and interestingly enough, the car I owned that had the wheels stolen from was an 85 Mustang).

Came home yesterday now sitting here reading FTE with a lil Irish coffee. Rain sounds good outside. Check this, driving away from jobsite I hear a dink and thud, look back and see my spare tire sitting on road. Got lucky as can`t imagine that falling off on fwy and killing someone.
Have a nice wet weekend,,,

Still wet here, although the rain has slowed down to a drizzle. Still good to look outside and see everything wet.

Well, I had a lousy day today. On the way to church this morning as I was getting ready to exit the bus, something on the back of the chair caught something on the bus, and rendered my chair unusable. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the plugs in the back to no avail, and had to resort to pushing the chair off the bus (the bus driver did most the pushing), and calling a friend with a pickup truck to come get me and take me back to the apartment. My roommate tried to fix it, but was unable to, and now it is in pieces in my room.

So, I will be making some calls tomorrow to see if I can get some money from Westcare or the VA to either fix this one, or get me another one. In the meantime I am stranded since I cannot walk the distance to the nearest bus stop. And to top it off, tomorrow we have to be out of the apartments for a minimum of 4 hours while the complex is sprayed for roaches. When it rains it pours eh?
