Beautiful sunny day when we were in Wally World... I could have sworn someone dropped a couple sheets of tin, turned out it was thunder, then lots and lots of rain.. we stopped at Wendys and had a bite while we waited for the storm to get ahead of us. Was a good plan as it was mostly dry on the way home!

Good morning Wyoming! Day 2 of my 3 days off...
Having coffee with the wife while she cranks out some French toast, eggs, & links. Had one heckuva rain storm last night, and it's still raining. No big plans for today.
Slept half of yesterday, recovering from night shifts.... Then I fixed my nieces car for her. Saved her $2500.....

We have a 4 crew rotation, 12 hour days, 12 hour nights. We get 48 hours or 36 hours a week, so I work either 3 or 4 shifts each week. Every 4 weeks, our days off get butted up against each other, so I get 12 weeks off per year plus paid vacation time off. So when I take a week of vacation, add my week off, I get 2 weeks off with no affect on my paycheck. I really like this schedule!
Pay is decent, benefits are good, and I only work 14 shifts per month.

We are in the middle of a refuel right now, so that's why the long hours. Plus, I had to start long hours in February, to get equipment out of storage, and ready for the refueling. Hopefully, everything will go somewhere near schedule, and we'll be done before Memorial Day, but I'm not holding my breath!
