Long day here with some backhoe, and roller time and working in the rain, makes for a long day.

Cb_13 nice rig why you want to get rid of it? I'd drive it till the wheels fall off and then just put them back on. lol
7-8 years come September I bought a Craftsman 42" for $500 from a local pawn shop. It was $900 mid summer but I kept going back once a month and it kept going down. A battery 3 years ago, and and idler pulley & mower drive belt 2 years ago is all i have to do.

It was a one year only model with a Honda 20HP twin cylinder.

dave i have a 60's massey furgenson lawn tractor..a very high quality lawn tractor... it has the hydrostatic trans-axle, cast iron frt. axle and gearbox driven mower deck.. a lot better than the pulleys and belts style.. i completely rebuilt it back in the 80's and used it many years but now the old (underpowered) 8hp tehcumsa engine is shot.. i no longer need it so it just sits..but i would rather see it restored again and put back to use..if interested let me know

I saw a john Deere 110 for $280 in a cl add 7 years back, went to pick it up and as ibloaded it he told me I had to take the 46 inch Montgomery Ward as well....then he went on to give me a spare motor for each.....lol and a trash can full of parts. The Montgomery ward mower has been a heck of a work horse, but my ash trees here have worked over the deck....I paid 80 for a almost non scratched deck last year and I swapped them out a couple days back. Just need to sharpen the blades I'm happy with it, but I am probably running on borrowed time with it lol.

Rich did it rain all day up there? I'm afraid to drive up there if he wontbgo out in the yard to pick my diff up

Glad to hear you ditched the headache and franken mower or Lucile, call it what ever as long as it cuts grass, right?

Go no hood, rattle can painted flames on the rear fenders and 4 wheeler knobby tires all the way around and get cha some.

Yes Jeff, rained off and on all day here, better call and ask them first.

Evening All!

Shop electric is paid! Another worry off my list. I didn't get the Mustang in, mainly because I wanted the blue truck parts to cure well before I handled them. The owner came by and saw them just after I was done spraying them. He is over joyed with how they look. I can't wait to get the rest of the truck shot and put back together. It's going to be sharp. ......for a Chevy.

I'm guessing as busy as you all are, you won't be coming to the car show in Nixa tomorrow.

I don't drive it too much anymore. I'm usually in my extremely awesome(there should be a font for sarcasm!!) economy car that you seen. The new plan is to keep it till the iron worms kill it or the repair bills get as high as a payment.

Thank you Rich. I looked up those blades on the net. They are used by emergency crews.
