6.2 vs 5.0
I`m thinking about a 6.2 or the 5.0 in a 2014 f150 4x4. I don`t tow much but love power.
I drove a 5.0 yesterday and loved how alive the motor felt but being a gear head 50 more hp and 50 more ftlbs is like a siren song and at 3 miles pr gallon cost over the 5.0 it`s not too bad??.
Will I be disappointed driving the 6.2 over the 5.0 as far as that wonderful free revving feeling over the slower but more powerful 6.2?
I did drive a 2012 f250 with a 6.2 but due to the 1000lb weight difference this was not a fair comparison.
Also there are no f150s on lots around here with the 6.2 to test drive.

My work truck is a 2013 F150 5.0. My personal truck is a 2011 F150 6.2. While the 5.0 makes awesome power it doesn't compare to the 6.2. After I 5 Star tuned my 6.2, I feel even more in love with it. You won't be disappointed. But as others have said, the F150 with a 6.2 is a hard find.
*Edit: Sorry, I just saw the OP was from last year. Did you buy a 6.2?
