Do I need to add oil
Pulling the refrigerant out of the a/c on my 06 F350, to replace the orfice tube. Going back with fresh refrigerant. Do I need to add oil and if so how much

Why are you replacing the orifice tube? If it is because of being clogged, look for more things wrong.

Gauges lead me to believe there is a restriction. The screen is the first place to start. Depending on what I find there I will go further into the system.

If ONLY opening the system, it's not necessary to add any replacement oil.

What if replacing items other than the compressor (condenser and dryer)?

Then you'd follow the directions in the service manual.
