What's going on with the truck, Shaun?

 

Took it in for its oil change. Also due for a cooling system flush. so just some routine maintenance. I will be heading to Virginia this weekend and wanted to get it done.

 

Oh, okay. You at the dealer? Careful poking around that new stuff, it's awful tempting!!LOL

 

Yeah. for what it would cost me to do the stuff at home the dealer is only a few bucks more. might as well let them get dirty and let them worry about getting rid of the old oil and coolant. and yeah I have to be careful. I know what happened the last time. I had a free oil change. and ended up driving home in a new truck.

 

I let the diesel shop do my coolant, I just do the oil at home.

 

I could do my oil change at home but I also have to work on the street and watch for people speeding down it that could hit the truck while I am under it. not worth the risk when the dealer is only a few bucks more then what the supplies cost me.

 

Oh, yeah, not a good place to be doing that. Don't blame you a bit for taking it in, Shaun.

 

Yeah. not worth playing dodge the speeding traffic from under the truck. besides I make it a point to combine a few stops on the way home anyway so it isn't a lost trip on the way home. Next stop is to get an alignment check ( dang Baltimore city streets) and have the tires rotated and balanced.
