So i got my 72 f100 with no ignition key just door so i bought a mew switch and lock cylinder but it wont start the truck i can start it with the starter relay and a screwdriver anyone had this problem? Any solutions?

 

You don't give enough info. Is the engine cranking over?

Does any dash lights come on or gauges move when you turn on the ignition switch?

Well you know how to get it started by jumping the starter relay.

Then Trouble shoot your new Ign. switch I'd say.

1st thought something is not wired correctly if you can start it by shorting the relay.
