What 4x4 should I keep? 1978 F150 - 1977 F250
Hello everyone, its been a while since I've posted anything on the forum but would like opinions.
I got my first Dent-side about 4 years ago and since then i've owned 10-14 of them. I like to wheel and deal, make a little money, fix a thing here and there and move it or hold onto it for awhile.
I always hold onto one truck and for 3 years I kept my 1977 F150 351M 2wheel drive truck that I painted. But ended up selling it because it was somewhat like having a nice V6 mustang. Everyone wants the 4wd or GT.
I owned this 1978 F150 once and then bought it back later after regretting it.
I bought it from the original owner. Its got 93,000 Original miles, 4 Speed, Powdercoated inner fenders, Front end parts, and engine components.
The negatives on it is not very evident yet but there is small rust starting on the one wheel wheel and bed side. Bubbles that annoy me a lot.
I want to put a leveling kit on it. Would a 2" raise spring in the front be right to level it out? I like how the 1977 Highboy sits better.
I picked up this 1977 F250 4x4 not long ago. It has 92,000 original miles on a 351M Automatic, Everything works. I like that its a F250 Highboy. It body is pretty solid. Runs great. I love the cab lights and it has a working cargo light.
So basically would it be worth it to sell the brown truck to put money into the F250 simply because its a "Highboy" with the stance, lights, mirrors that I like? Opinions?

Who says you can't have both?
I also prefer the rounds to the rectangles, so if I was shopping I'd buy the 77. And those mirrors on the highboy are my favorite! But seeing as you own both and want to sell one, I'd sell the highboy I think. Other one is in much better condition, and the 300 is probably more reliable.
If you aren't in such a hurry, why not add the leveling spring and see what you think of the stance afterward?
