Fender supports

Po removed fender supports from frame to body panels when he installed new fenders.

I assume these are right in the wheel wells.

I am having hard time using search to find info on both front n back braces.

Search results include fender n radiator brace.

Anyone have good pis of the front n rear fender braces?

We're these options or standard?

Tks

On my '74, the front braces don't go to the frame, but to the radiator support. In the rear, the outer fender bolts to the cab top & bottom, and the inner fender has a rubber piece that bolts to the cab at the bottom.

Sorry for the weird angle - my front clip is off the truck right now, sitting on the garage floor, since I'm in the middle of an engine swap.

The outer fender is the body-color skin. The inner fender is the galvanized piece in the engine compartment. There are no extra braces at the rear on either: the outer bolts to the cab, one bolt at the bottom and one at the top that you have to open the door to get to. The inner fender has a 3-bolt bracket to the cowl and then a rubber piece that bolts to the firewall down low.

Got it. I was con fussed as I thought your post said rear fender ie bed. You ment rear of the front fender. I was con fussed since rear being bed does not have an inner.

Do you have pics of the rear ie bed fender brace. Is there one just in front of rear axle and anouther just behind the rear axle.

Tks

Thank you for pics. Po probably remain bed when he added the body lift but I think I am going to put them back on to save the side panels.

Just noticed my frt fender braces are flipped. The ends r different with one end being flat and the other bent w reinforcement edges. My flat ends r up by radiator and not attached to fender. Do I need to flip these?
