How does the 'rear' zone audio work? I haven't played with it I just read that you push 3 & 5 together to turn it on/off.

Can the kids listen to 1 radio station while I listen to a different one? How does the stereo split the audio up front/rear or front/headphones? Anyone know if any aftermarket headunits have the same/similar abilities?

 

in Normal mode, all speakers play the same thing: the radio, or CD, or rear DVD/Aux input.

in DUAL mode: front plays whatever the radio is doing (radio, CD) while the REAR plays whatever the REAR is doing (aux input, DVD).

Does anyone know what size rear window shocks will work better than the stock ones that come on the 2002 Excursion? We have replaced twice now and the door is becoming heavy again. Does anyone have a better solution for size shocks? The window is heavy.
