I converted to an electric fuel (e-fuel) system and the pump, and two filters (one pre-filter with a water separator and one final filter, post-pump) now reside down on the frame rail under the cab. It's a lot easier to fit this kind of setup in when you have the added room provided by the crew cab frame. It fits nicely between the back of the transfer case and the front of the front fuel tank.
