Electronic Speed inductor?

hey folks,

im studying my technical documents and now i've seen that my van should be electrical inducted? (dont know if "inducted" is the correct translation)

means it wont run faster than 155Km/h. although it could.

possible? may normal?

Sounds like its had the speed limiter programmed into the PCM.

It's probably limited to the speed rating of LT tires.

TX2 has this correct---there is a way to electronically govern or limit the top speed by modifying the PCM's computer coding. With the proper equipment this feature can be engaged, defeated or set to another speed to the drivers or owners specifications.

Toppa in this instance the translation isn't fully correct however your description of the situation is very, very helpful.
