oil dipstick

I own a 2004 6.0 liter and was just wondering if Ford offered a "different or replace" oil dipstick for that truck. Mines the T handle type and 1 side is cracked, I see the newer trucks have the ring style like the Transmission uses. So just asking if something is out there to replace what I have now.

Thanks in advance.

Here's what LMC Truck sells .... (bottom of page)

Truck Parts and Truck Accessories

I don't know if the difference in length is because the handles are taller. I don't know if the important distance of 'tip to shoulder' is the same on both. That you'll have to do some searching on. I'm sure others here will help.

Here is the part number for the OEM from Ford.

It's: 3C3Z-6754-BA

You can buy this from Amazon, eBay or Fordpartsgiant.com.

Just buy a new one every 5 years and don't jam it down so far each oil check. It does crack simply cause it's easy to force down to far. If your like OEM, that's quite a few oil checks. :-)

The round ones and the t handles are not interchangeable. Unless the tube is changed. Just FYI.
