Anyone have a SCSB F250 460 5 speed?

I am looking to upgrade my truck to a 3/4 ton and would like to find a SCSB. I know that this combo is not very common but was wondering if anyone has one and what kind of mpg are you pulling? Normal 460 mileage of 12 ish? I seem to find more 7.3L in this combo than 460's which would be fine but I don't necessarily need a diesel at the moment. I also see quite a few with the 460 and auto trans but I really want a manual again. Just curious how many people out there have this combo.

I've never seen that combo but not saying they are not out there. Super rare I would bet!

Hmmm, yeah I have never seen one before. Like I said I see the F250 powerstroke in that combo but not the 460. Seems like most 460's I see have the E4OD.

Super, Short, and Sweet...

F250 Super Cab short beds [OBS] were available in 1996 & 97 model years only with engine choices of 460 or Power Stroke diesel so they are a bit rare. Keep looking - you will find one and, from what I have seen, they are usually pretty well cared for as many appear to have spent their lives towing campers.

Yeah most I see are pretty clean. I see them with the powerstroke more often than not and it seems that half of them have manual transmissions. All the 460's I have seen have had auto tranny's. Maybe dieselbrad will chime in, I think he was loooking for one for a while and went with a powerstroke instead.

I'm pretty sure the SCSB F-250s were '95 - '97, with the CCSBs being '96 - '97.
