OK, at first glance of the first log file I see that the FIPW (fuel inj pulse width) is jumping up to 3.5-4.8 right before the vehicle starts to move. This might be when you shift it into drive. I'll try to graph something up when I get home later on........

Diesel 724,

Were these WOT runs or just normal driving & acceleration?

Was this in the DP stock tune or was this with the chip removed?

Something is going on with the FIPW. I plotted the entire run, but this makes it difficult to read. But I wanted to throw this out there and show the big picture.

What it looks like to me, your ICP & Duty Cycle climb normally as you accelerate - you seemed to have pushed the throttle more in 1st & 2nd gear, compared to 3rd & OD. Duty cycle never getting over 40% (good) and ICP around 2700 (expected from a stock tune).

But when you look at FIPW (fuel Inj Pulse Width) it is way higher than it hould be for stock. It is plotted from the left side of the graph and your data numbers were multiplied by 1,000 so we can see them better. Stock FIPW should max out around 3 (3,000 on this graph). Something is causing it to spike.

gotta run for now......need some help from the experts to if this is truely a stock run. IDM? PCM?

In both data runs it seems to me the FIPW seems to spike just prior to the truck moving or being put into drive then again after shifting into 2nd gear. After that she cleans up......

This is with my DP, not a stock tune but "return to stock" setting.... Which I assume is the factory. I have a 6 speed. First log is mashing on throttle, second is normal slow pull out and go. In first one I went from first to third, skipping 2nd. On second run I'm not sure if I started in 2nd or started in first and skipped to 3rd.. (tyranny grind going into 2nd when not at a dead stop, I think synchro is out)

Please do us all a favor and REMOVE your tuner. Stock setting can be corrupt and be causing a problem also.

I don't know what's left. It's a programmer. Ever since I got it I had 3 options, 60hp 80hp and 100hp. And the only option is Return to stock. I assumed that was my factory stock. That's the closest I can get to removing it is to Return to stock and then I could unplug the OBD cord but then I couldn't log or gauge anything?

Meaning it erases my computer and rewrites a tune over the computers existing tune. If that return to stock isn't really MY stock tune, I don't think I can ever get back to ever again? It's not a tune called stock in my list of 3 it is its own option in a different window, Return to stock. I don't remember if it copied it the very time I used it or what.

The stock calibration will command a lot more pulse width than 3-ish mS with low injection pressure (like just stabbing the accelerator pedal while lugging).

Just sayin'.....

I don't know crap about tuning but to eliminate the possibility of your programmer causing your issue you have to unplug it from the OBD port and will have to data log another way as in AE. I don't know how the DP Infinity all works but I can't imagine it overwriting the PCM and leaving it that way even when the programmer is removed. The PCM should go back to stock when the programmer is unplugged. I don't want you chasing your tail when there might not even be something wrong. The programmer needs to be eliminated from the equation.

Have you talked to DP about it?

X2

question - I thought the infinity was like a chip - switch on the fly type setup. is it not?
