Question diy mesh grille

ill be doing a write on it i think because the ones that are on the internet arent really specific and skip parts that i had to figure out that i wouldnt of expected. but my question is is there a way to mount the mesh on the plastic without the bolts, washer and nut? i saw someone used zip ties and hot glue but i dont know if i would trust that at highway speeds and the crappy gravel roads i live on...
Any input is greatly appreciated! TIA

I would think your only option would be to use some kind of epoxy to fasten it to the inside of the frame. Look for a good 2 part epoxy and give that a shot.

However, without seeing pictures of what you're coming up with, it's hard to offer any kind of specific advice.

i stopped at home depot and got two part epoxy, says it holds up to 3200psi so well see how that works. i put the frame i cut out, and it had pretty substantial gaps between the lights and the outer diameter of the grille when i put it on the truck. hopefully it doesnt look horrible. now some pics...i had to get a little crafty holding the mesh down since i cant find my clamps after this winter...some of the pictures wouldnt upload for whatever reason

This is what I have. It uses buttons that stick on the grille and the cover snaps to it.

no purpose, just like the way they look but i dont think mine is going to turn out well... i managed to shorten the length of the grille by about 4 inches since i took away the support from the midsection of the grille i cut out. and i wasnt planning on reinforcing it with steel but well see what happens i didnt get much done yesterday since overtime just sounded too good
