Late to the party, but I currently have 8 Ford trucks, and am looking at a 9th for purchase (1940 1.5 ton). I also have had about 10 others that I no longer own. I still have my first; a 1978 F150 4x4. 44 years old, and out of my extended family, I think I'm the only Ford guy, AKA black sheep, lol.

Real Ford Guy

It's been a while since I have been on this forum.

Almost 62 (July is my birth month) I retired in Sep. of 2013 and got my old truck running pretty good. I have been driving it and get the thumbs up wherever I go.

I have always loved the 1956 F100 since I was a little boy and the neighbor had one. I have always thought the 1956 was the prettiest truck Ford ever made.

List of my trucks:
1956 F100 Custom Cab
1966 F250 Custom Cab
1956 F100 Custom Cab
2015 F150 Platinum

It's been a while also since I have been on this forum. I am 52 and actually never was a Ford fan. But I was always a fan of the 50's F100 trucks. When I bought my 53 back in 2002 in a complete mess I soon became a fan and even traveled to the US for the Western Nationals and hopefully won day attend the F100 supernationals.

I am in my 60's. I grew up in a "Ford" home, Dad had a 1950 Ford, then a 1955 Ford, then a 1960 Ford. My first car was a 1959 Ranchero and then a 1962 Fairlane, then 2 more 1962 Fairlanes, and then I graduated college and went to work for Ford, and I built a 1949 F-1 with a Y-block. I worked for Ford for 32 years. I have had a ton of Ford cars and trucks over the years. I still own a 1949 F-1 (not the same one), and a 1956 F100, and a 2001 Lightning, and several Mustangs.

I appreciate all cars and trucks, but I bleed Blue.
