Alternator upgrade issues.

Alternator upgrade issues.
I'm trying to go with a 100amp one wire alternator for my 1975 f250 4x4 with a stock 360fe. All of the alternators I have tried are to deep and the back of the alt hits the cylinder head. I need some direction on how to get this done. I've dug through posts and called a retailer or two and have not come up with anything better than going down to a OEM size 75 amp. I will be running a dump trailer and a pop-camper both with trailer brakes. Jim from Centech who is currently building me a new wiring harness almost insists on a 100amp to power everything at once. Some direction would be most appreciated.

Go with a 3G swap instead, you use a Ford alt that you can source out of a junkyard and it is rated 90 and 130 amps
