1924 Model TT

A gentleman I recently met allowed me to take pictures of his '24 TT. Factory C cab, factory flatbed, Ruckstell two speed rear axle and rear brakes. Engine mods that were done years ago include a water pump and distributor ignition. We didn't talk about whether he's wanting to sell but I've always wanted a T and this being a truck would be perfect.

I would try and see if is willing to sell. Doesn't hurt to ask. Is that an international in your profile pic? Or is it a Diamond T?

Nice truck! Talk about a time capsule. Make him an offer he can't refuse.

I don't hook any trailers to it. If the show is close I drive, otherwise I trailer it.

I talked to a Model T owner yesterday about the TT. He said biggest problem is how slow they are, maybe 15-18 mph tops due to the worm gear drive.

That's a heck of a big flathead six in our 226 cu in ford brains! Is the Clark original to the truck? I have driven them in a buddy's military rigs. Takes a bit getting used to the shift pattern. I thought the model AA was slow at 26 mph. Sheesh, that TT needs a couple more pedals coming thru the floor! I'd buy it anyways, just so I could drive it around without even washing it. But that's just me....

White was well-known for their gas engines. They topped out with a 490A flathead six with 531ci displacement. The Clark trans is original to this truck, non-synchronized and can't be shifted fast.

I'll be talking to the owner soon. He may not want to sell it.
