Need new headphones for rear dvd?
I have an 08 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer with a sunroof and a factory rear dvd player.
The 2 original wireless headphones used to work fine until just recently one of them stopped working, so all it gets now is static. Anyone know of a way to fix it? Or do I just need to get a new one?
And I'm not sure what brand to buy if that's the issue because I have a found quite a few different brands. And have read that some work and some don't.

Two questions: 1) Did you try replacing the batteries in the static pair of headphones, and 2) Did you check the channel setting and make sure the correct channel is selected?
I'm not positive the OEM headphones have a channel setting. I only had aftermarket headphones for my Mountaineer and Aviator. I bought a couple sets off of the popular auction website that claimed to work with Ford products and had two IR frequency/code settings and they worked fine with my 2004's.
