2006 Rear Suspension towing an RV

I have a 2006 Expedition. We tow a Coachmen RV trailer. Tows well except the rear hangs low which makes the ride unstable. Weight distribution and anti-sway on the hitch. Still have the problem. The Expedition has rear struts. No one has been able to recommend a solution. Would like to have an adjustable solution as we do not always tow with the vehicle. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

After more research, it seems that StrutMaster may have the best solution. Their springs are different from OEM. They claim the vehicle will ride more even. Reviews are favorable. Anyone have any experience with StrutMaster?

Towing rv

I tow a 28 foot Coachmen with my 2003 expy. When they set up the WD hitch and sway bar they did it with an empty rv. On making our first trip of about 150 miles to a camp, it felt unstable when loaded. When I rehooked to leave camp I took up an additional link on the WD bars and it made a tremendous difference. Grabbing the extra link put the Expy back to close to normal stance front to back.

Just go to the thread in question and copy the link from the address bar. Then come back and paste the link into your message...nothing special.
