Lifting a 1999 F250ld 2wd
I'm curious how hard this is.
I installed 265/75R16 tires on it last fall for some more decent traction and so my vehicles and trailers all use the same tires. It now looks too low.
This doesn't actually bother me, but all my hitches and trailers are set up for the height of my excursion, which has about a 2" height difference on the truck. I found a set of blocks from the excursion for the back that I think will bolt right up, and it seems some longer springs for the front aren't too awful expensive.
Am I over or under thinking this? The old truck was only bought because it was cheap and makes a decent farm/utility truck. I like the gas mileage and driveability for letting employees run errands with it.
