ON the 53 f-100, Is there any kind of gasket that is supposed to go on the floor where the brake and clutch pedal rods go through.


I was searching around mid fifties on line but didn't see anything.

I find it much easier to thumb through the catalog. You get to the general area "Clutch and Brake Parts" in this instance and just scan the page for what you are looking for. I have an older copy at work and the newer catalog at home. You never know when you might need to look through it.

 

I was looking at using this one: 1953-56 Ford F-100 Column Floor Plate Full Rubber Insulator

I was able to use the original metal covers and some other gasket material I had around instead.

 

I do too but I'm still waiting for a catalog to show up in the mail..
