dana 60 swap?

Will I need to do modification s to my 71 f250 4Dr to install a 78 Dana 60 in place of the stock 44 or will it bolt right up?

It might bolt up. I don't think perch width changed. Track width should be the same also.

You might ask the dent guys the same question. See what they say.

It is a bolt in operation for the axle. Now the drive shaft may need to change due to U-joint size difference and possible length difference as well. High pinion vers low pinion.
