crown victoria / town car / grand marquis suspension swap

I’m looking at putting in a 03-11 crown victoria / town car / grand marquis front end into a 1990 f-150 and wondering if anyone has done this with that year or similar f-150 and possibly the idea of a drive train swap as well and info would help

I've researched the hell out of this years ago.
It's doable, just time and money.

If you do some searching, you can find some info, but most is on older F100s. Very interested in this swap myself.

I've been looking into this lately too. From what I can tell, the frame width is close enough to a crown vic that it should work. Most people reference that it will work up until '79. Were there any changes to the frame width or track width between 1979 and 1996?

It's ment to be... The dimensions are spot on. Just need to add some square tubing to the top of the frame.
My measurements are listed in one of those posts

Copy and paste
Just wanted to update the situation and info, always handy to have more info. The Frame for most older trucks (measured my 92) is 34' outside frame to outside frame. Guess what else is that same dimension? 04-08 Crown Vic's, Gran Marquis ,PI's(700 pound springs) So the Hunt is on for a Sub-Frame. So I would be swapping from hub to hub. More info can be found here. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=716058

Does that guy have a build thread? I'd love a RWD Bronco.
