The ARP2000 Material is about 10-15% higher in strength, so Im sure these would see upwards of 200ft/lbs before permanent stretch... I haven't got to test one yet because you cant just buy single ARP2000 studs. I don't think these are necessary on the 7.3, the 8740 stuff is proving itself well on high boost stock compression engines, even with stock type crappy HG's. However, I will be Running a set of these on the P-Pump build with Fire-rings, and I will run them to at least 170ft/lbs, Possibly 180...

Everything Aside, You wont see any detrimental effects of running these to 150. The Head fastener bosses are all tied to the bottom of the block, not the cylinders, so bore distortion is almost non-existent, the extra torque is going to transfer directly into clamping force on the gasket, and that's it.
Well heck that is good to know, I am installing the studs today and will be torque them to 150. Even though this is a rebuilt engine, I still like the idea of running a bottom tap, what size is the tap?

A lot lol! I think I paid about this price
http://m.summitracing.com/parts/arp-250-4204

I ended up torquing to 140ft-lbs, I couldn't go anymore because the engine would move around on the pallet lol

Stud Kits
I know he sells them as well, your looking at two different kits as noted in early posts . One is 190,000psi (r&d) and the other 220,000psi(my kit).. I totally goofed when I ordered not reading the material, in the end was it worth the extra $$? Lol at this point what's a few hundred more considering I'm almost dumping $4000 in to this at the moment

Have you thought about upgrading your turbo at all? As much money as you have into your setup, you might as well. Even with the 90cc IP you are limiting yourself and it would run a lot stronger with an upgrade. Even a compressor wheel upgrade would help IMO...

Yes I am looking around for a turbo upgrade, I did notice that I still have way too much fuel for this turbo when the engine was running.

Good. I'm glad you're looking for something better. Any idea what you are wanting to go with?

Honestly I'm not really sure, I do like how fast this turbo spools though

Something like a Hx40 might be decent with your setup. An Hx40 has a bigger compressor and has different sizes of hot sides as well. But also iirc even a S366 spooled fast with that 90cc pump. It just all depends what you want. Justin might be able to help you better than I can...
