Probably tuning. The later Cali models have split shot injectors.

No. The disk or original AB code injectors would signify you having a Cali model. If you had AA's then you didn't, your pcm should have a code on it and your chip should be programmed with that info in mind.

Well that's the thing. I bought the chip before I put the bigger injectors in it. So it's still programmed for stock injectors

I went with DP, because it seemed like the popular choice but from everything ive read here gearhead or dynoproven seems to be the recommended custom tuning

depends on the person, truck, mods, blah, blah, blah. I have dyno proven but the tunes need some work for sure. I may even try another tuner. Idk we'll see lol

Well sounds like dyno proven has a few errors so I'll give DP a look and check out gearhead

Alright guys, another thing I noticed the other day is when I had the defrost on, pickup ran rough like is has been but when I switched it from defrost to off, it had a really weird surge/idle issue. Idle real goofy. And I saw on another site is that a transmission sensor was bad on a guys tranny and it made his 7.3 idle rough??? I hve no idea where that came from but people sai that sensor did it. It was on an automatic though. Mine is a 5 speed.
